JD & Company came about as the result of a chance meeting between two souls who have been playing music their whole lives.  Each had taken their own journey of musical discovery not knowing they were meant to come together at a party of mutual friends. Since then, the two have joined forces adding two very talented musicians along the way.  In addition to James Beck on guitar and Dan Fearn on violin/guitar we have Bob Gloppen on bass and Rick Shandling on drums.  Thus, what once was Jim & Dan is now JD & Company.  Mixing a unique blend of jazz, blues and funk, this sound knows no boundaries....
